I just told my parents last night that i'm
pregnant. My mom took it well but my dad
and my sister didn't. I was just
wondering what some of your parents
thought and how long it took for them to
come around.

Hey sweetie, its normal for parents to
take it harshly for the first little bit
you are there lil girl still remember.
Its a bit of a shock but most parents come
around! Myself I had to tell my now
in-laws not my own parents b-cuz they're
not with us anymore. Anywho scott and I
told them and they were excited lol.
They've been trying to convince us to have
kids since I was 17 and he was 19 lol now
im 19 and hes 21. Give them a little
time and hopefully it'll get better

It took my mom until just a few months to
get over it. And my son is now 6 months
old. My mom got so bad that she go
involved in crack cocaine. Some of us
aren't as lucky as others..Like me...I am
praying for you , and I think that you are
a very strong person for accomplishing
someting like that, it take a lot of
courage...Good luck!!

All parents will get over it. And if they
don;t, their love isn't strong enough. We
are all humans, its a natural thing..Just
have to deal with it. I hope to god that
when I have children they dont' have kids
a teens but if they do, i'll be there
eventhough i'll be disappointed not
because of what happened (noone can
controll it if you are having sex) but
that thier lives will change too early but
I would be supportive and made sure they
finished school and went on to
college..I'd be there 100% to make sure
they would have the best life no matter
what.
Hey, my mom had me at almost 17years old.
I came out well, although she was an
irresponsible mother.
Oh well, some of us are made to be
mothers, some not.
I look at it this way: you are their baby.
You cannot expect your parents to
immediatly love the idea of you have a
child while you are still so young. If
you tell your parents that you are preggy
and they through a party, something is
wrong. Parents are entitled to be upset,
angry, and even hurt. But in time most,
not all, but most, parents get over it,
accept it, and possibly even learn to (in
caps) love it!
