Someone Please Help Me And Respond!!!!
Posted: 12-31-04 12:11pm

I woke up this morning, stood up to get ready to go the bathroom like any other day, and I felt like this gushing feeling down in my vaginal area. Like when you have your period and its heavy and u can just feel it flowing or wateva. So I go in the bathroom and sure enough there is this blood spot on my panty liner. I mean it looked like the start of a period. It wasnt too much but wasnt a little either. So im like freakin out. So I call my doctor and and im on hold for like 15 minutes and the finally some lady answers and I tell her what happened and she pages my doc. So he calls back like 5 minutes later and I tell him and he says take it easy over the weekend and come see me monday or tuesday so I can do a scan on you and make sure everything is ok. And then this is what really got me. He said if I was having a miscarriage, becuz im only 12 weeks there really is nothing that he can do to save the baby. I know that is the truth but it just got to me hearing him say that. I havent had any cramping besides normal cramping a little but that i've had since I got pregnant. I just want to know has this happened to anyone else or do you guys think it is something I should really worry about. My doc said it could just be my cervix or something to do with a membrane or something like that. And that if it got any worse to go to the emergency room. I havent had any more bleeding after that happened this morning. I put on a regular size pad instead of just a panty liner just in case but i've been checkin on and off and there is no sign of any more blood....Someone please just tell me im over exagerating or something....

All I can tell you is that some would say that if you have a miscarriage.. You know it.. Some people do get their periods when they are pregnant.. It could be that.. Idk what to tell you other than that.

Here's some sites that may help

You can easily bleed during the pregnancy and still carry a healthy pregnancy to term. Yes, you will likely be very wprried with the "what-ifs" until you can get checked out, but you should know that most of the time, it is not a problem.

Sweety I hope everything is okay. It could just been that your cervix was irritated and that could have caused it. Let us know when you can.

Hope everything goes ok. I spotted like that. It was only cause I had been on feet working too much. Also I picked up a 5gallon bottle of water. So after that I just cut donw on working.
God bless you and your baby!!!!!!

I had this same thing happen just a week or so ago. First: how far along are you? I went in to see the doc. Because of the spotting I had and it turned out it was my mucus plug, they said that it was normal to see blood. I hope everything is ok!! Keep us posted hun.

I am sorry for the scare because I know exactly how you feel. I have been going through the exact same thing for over a week except i've had the cramping off and on and I do have to actually wear a pad. I went to the doctor the first time and they told me it looks like I am going to miscarry but I went back in two days later and everything looked suprisingly much better. Now, I have to go in tomorrow because of a new episode that happend this past weekend so I am just worn out and emotionally exhausted but I am still hoping that I am pregnant. Its especially hard when this is my first pregnancy and a very good suprise considering we were not trying. Anyway, I wish you luck.
