Hiya
im 25 and due to persistant and big
ovarian cysts and endimetriosis I am
scheduled to have a hysterectomy in a few
weeks.
Any experience from similar age women
would be appreciated

Forgot to add that its a full
hysterectomy, removal of both ovaries ect

I just had a hysterectomy and not to scare
you but it hurts bad. I had 30 staples on
my belly and I could'nt do anything
because it hurt so much. It hurts when
you cough,sneeze, go to the bathroom but
in time you will feel better. I had my
hysterectomy on dec 16 and it is now dec31
and I am still having pain and can't do
very much but I got my staples out which
also hurts and they put steri strips on my
belly. You will be put on pain meds and
you will sleep a lot. Just remember to
take it easy for 6 weeks. Everything will
be ok. I have endometriosis and had
ovarian cysts to. But my doctor told me
having a hysterectomy will not get rid of
endo it will still grow inside. He said
it could even grow on your organs. It is
a disease that is always with you.
