Q: What On Earth Is This???

Hey guy's, I am sure this is normal but I wanted to see if any of you have been threw this or might know what it is....Ok....I woke up yesterday morning and I couldn't even set up straight because behind my belly button on the inside I had th worst pain!!! It is still hurting and even sore to the touch!!! My dog jumped on my tummy this morning(small dog) and it hurt so bad!! But only in the belly button area. What do you guys think???

there is a small ligament (string of tissue) that can be connecting from your belly button to the rest of your body (remnants of your own umbilical cord). It can get irritated or stretched or pull on the tissue right around the belly button. Most likely that is what happened, and it resolves itself in 2-3 days.

Also, in rare cases, pain from a bladder infection can be irritating another nerve and be felt only around the belly button.

So it is worth it to get a urine analysis. They are cheap and should give you peace of mind

I have another docs visit on the 4th of january. I was pretty sure that it wasn't anything to worry about but you know how you are when your pregnant, you tend to worry about any little thing :d thank you so much for your response!!
