How can u tell if a man has a yeast
infection or if its jock itch? Also what
would cause him to stay wet in his private
area?

Are you an athelete? It could be from
sweat and in turn irritation. Is it
bumpy and red? Blisters?
Best wishes

Hey thanks for answering me im well it was
referring to my husband he has been gone
with the military and he was working in
the kitchen so I guess he was staying wet
in that area now it is really bothering
him he is sweating and itching there alot
but he has went to the doctor he told him
it was jock itch so he gave him cream it
seemed to help at first but now its
getting worse again he has went thru 4
tubes of medicine now so I was just
wondering if maybe its a yeast infection
instead of the jock itch and if he can use
the medicine that a woman uses when she
has one or if he needs something else

He should listen to his doctors advice.
But if it is folliculitis his currently
treatment want help.
Corn starch based powder is the best
option for keeping the area
dry, ordinary powder clummps together when
wet at makes
things worse.
He might also like to try putting on some
mild skin softening cream. If his skin is
dry and cracked it will cause itching.

Yeast Infection
I don't think guys get yeast infections
being as we don't have a uterus and birth
canal and stuff. Those areas in a woman,
when the good bacteria in that area is not
plentious enough, will have an increase in
yeast, which in turn is where we get the
term yeast infection...So bottom line, he
does not have a yeast infection...He just
works in a hot climate which induces a lot
of body sweat. He probably sweats
heavily under his arms too...Right?

men also suffer from yeast infections,
however they are are less common in men
relative to women.

Well lawerence he doesnt sweat under his
arms bad like that and he had been using
the cream for jock itch for a while and it
was getting worse so I got him some yeast
infection cream and it helped a little but
then I bought him some vagigaurd which is
for itching burning and wetness or
sweating in that area and it is keeping
him from itching and also from not being
as wet but he is still not getting better
as of yet which I know it will probably
take a while because he was really bad
