Q: Does Any of This Sound Familiar?

I know that i've been popping in an out of here asking questions and trying to keep myself updated on what my body is doing. It's so hard to remember exactly when everything was if you don't write it down. Honestly I know i'm not pregnant. But if i'm not, that what explains the:
1. Fluxuation of my appitite/weight.
2. After about 5 weeks with no period and unprotected sex, I bled a sort of dark brown blood. Kind of gooey like. About a pad a day for 4 days.
3. No sign of my period thereafter.
4. More frequent bowel movements.
5. Extreeme heart burn when I wake up.

The end of october is when I got off of the patch. I had already menstruated. I took it off at the end of my "period" week and never replaced my "week one" patch.
The month of november is when I had the brownish period.

It is now january 5, and there is no sign of anything. Normally my breasts get sore 2/3 days before my period. I have never been pregnant before so I don't know what to feel or expect.
I did take a .99cent pregnancy test during the month of december and it showed negative. I am in the midst of straightening out my insurance abilities. I also check on a blood test for the doc. And they said if they're not looking for the hormone, there's no way to tell. ?!?!?! Thats what I said... " I would have to ask my gyno/ob." if I even still have one.

So if anyone can tell me maybe what i'm going through, or if anyone has been through this, what to do! Im really starting to freak out.

I would take another hpt. And once your insurance is straightened out get a blood test if you still have no period. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. I'm just in a really boggled state of mid. It's almost like i'm powerless in this situation and it's my body. I don't know of any planned parenthoods in or around my area. Is there maybe a general number?

It is always hard to tell if someone is pregnant. Esp. When you are coming off of the bc. Your hormones and body changes alot and you will go through different stages. It could also be your menstrual cycle is changing and it will eventually become a regular cycle if you are not pregnant. But I agree with lil blaze. Take another hpt or get a blood test done. Also go see your doc because if you are pregnant they say the cervix turns blue so the doctor can tell by an enternal exam. Good luck to you

I never had any bleeding at all. Not even spotting. And the first home pregnancy test I took came back positive. You also have to remember to pee in a cup and then stick the stick into the pee directly.

Hey everyone....Thank you for all of your advice. I willl get a new ept and test myself. I have a feeling that i'm not. But hey....Many people go through their pregnancy w/o any knowledge of it. But I mean come on...I think I would be nausious and sore boobs....But I will follow everyone's advice and search the net for planned parenthood for maybe an examination of some sort.

I really appreciate everyone's input b/c I don't have anybody to talk to about this situation.

i will return with the outcome of the tests....Hopefully it's negative b/c I don't believe that me and my fiance are financially stable. I do see people who have less than we do make it..But I want my baby to have everything that I never did. And everyting that maybe other people aren't able to provide. Ya know what I mean? It's kind of hard to explain. I do have support if I were to be pregnant. But it's like if it's a "maybe" than I get a lot of static.

Thanks again you guys....
