When do your boobs get milk in them? And
how? You just like...Make milk? Do they
like poke you with a hole or something?
Even if you dont breast feed will you
still get milk?

I was a 36d before I got pregnant and now
im a 36dd. If things keep going like this
i'm gonna be a cow by the time my baby
comes in may. :( my bf loves it but
like I tell him, he doesnt have to carry
them around.

Yep they get milk in them automatically
whether you breastfeed or not. At first
its just colostrum, a thick sticky
substance. It will probably start leaking
a little before your baby is even born.
Then about 3 days after giving birth, your
milk will come in. Your boobs will grow a
whole cup size in aboug 2 days! Its
crazy.

Lilangel- thats just part of ur
colostrum... It will become more of a
thick yellowish substance...
Milk doesnt actually come in until the
baby is a couple of days old... Whether
you breastfeed or not. However, if you
choose not to breastfeed, your milk will
dry up faster.

Actually you can have milk come in
sooner....But most of the time it's
afterwards....And sometimes ppl don't even
get the milk in.....
I was one who wasn't able to breastfeed
due to the lack of milk I had come in
after my son was born. I tried and tried
to breast feed, but nothing. And when it
was just too mucha nd frustrating for my
son and i, I gave up. I then tried to
breast pump....Which also didn't
work...Come to find out, I didn't have a
single thing in me...But little
drops....And that's with no matter how
much I pumped....Just drops!! Not near
enough to feed my son!!

Yeah... But its more uncommon for the
milk to come in beforehand...
Its unfortunate that some women who really
want to breastfeed arent able to.

and you don't want it to. Its important
that your baby gets as much of the
colostrum as possible immediately after
birth.

Thanks guys, much helpfull. So the
doctors dont have to do anything to
activate it? I told my doctor I wasnt
gunna breastfeed, but if I change my mind,
I can just put the baby up there, and it
will drink? Or would I have to tell
someone ahead of time so they can do
whatever to make it come out? I have
really sensitive nipples and even when I
touch with soap in the shower they get all
crazy tingley and I cant take it. Thats
why I dont wanna breastfeed.
Ok this might sound weird but...What if
your boyfriend is sucking on your boobs
while your messing around, milk will come
out?! Thats gross in my mind. Should
that be a forbidden area?
And how long do you keep your milk? Like
when the babys 1, will it be gone?
Sorry, I have alot of questions about milk
:)
im really serious too, I dont know this
stuff...

I think it'd be fine if your boyfriend
did.
I think I read somewhere bout it..And it
said it was fine..And it wouldn't take
away from the baby.
And I think it goes away around a
year..Not sure. I'm not sureeeeeee i'm a
virgin...I've never experienced that stuff

It will hurt for about 2 weeks. It will
hurt bad! But after about 2 weeks, the
pain will go away. Your milk stays until
you stop feeding. As long as your baby is
drinking, your breasts will continue to
make more milk. The nurses don't have to
do anything... Just put your baby to your
breast, and he will naturally open up!
Sometimes you have to teach the baby to
latch properly, but most of the time, the
problem is that the baby doesn't open up
wide enough and get enough of your areola
in its mouth. To fix this, you can
squeeze your areola a little and put your
nipple in baby's mouth yourself, to ensure
that he or she gets enough in his or her
mouth.
Yes, milk will come out if you let bf
suck! Probably even if he just licks or
touches you! Your boobs will leak the
whole time, and sometimes they leak just
because you think about your baby, or milk
or something.

Yeah... The colostrum is important as it
has the antibodies etc that your baby
needs to start the foundation for his/her
immune system...
