Could It Be a Yeast Infection? Posted: 01-05-05 18:33pm
I've had a yeast infection before and
didnt know it, I only found out through my
annual exam (i guess it was good
timing)... I didnt have any symptoms or
anything, so I just got the over the
counter thing and went on my way
last night I woke up in the middle of the
night and was very itchy down there (i had
shaved recently which I usually get itchy
from but it was completely different, and
I dont know what it was from)
could it be a yeast infection?

Could be.. I'm like you.. I've had 2 or
3 exams before where i've gotten results
telling me I have a yeast infection and
never even knew it. Sometimes I get real
itchy and have no smell or discharge. I
would start by just using an external
cream such as vagisil though.. Use it for
maybe 3 days. If the symptoms come back
afterwards then I would treat is as a
yeast infection.. If it goes away then it
may be just be some sort of external
irritation

sensation, sometimes I have little cuts
but I dont know if its because i've been
scratching or cuz of my skin being so

Yes it can be a yeast infection and you
should always go to the doctor if you have
a itch and it smells,because it doesn't
always have to be a yeast it could be
something more serious. And the reasons
for the little cuts maybe because your
itching it..The vagina is very
sensitive.
Good luck hanna

You should try the monistat again if it
worked the first time, and you can also
try this gel it's called metro gel it's
really good.
