I Have Numbness In My Hands And Fingertips! Posted: 10-26-03 16:05pm


I woke up one day with severe pain in both of my arms and numbness in hands and fingertips...I went to the doc. And they did x-rays on my neck and found nothing ..They put me on steriods and muscle relaxers..It is not getting better ..What do I do next?

I would try alternative therapies - bowen therapy, acupressure, acupuncture, naturopathy, holistic medicine, hypnotherapy etc. Good luck. Sorry no-one replied sooner.

Hi, I have the same problem and I was told it was because I have had trama to my neck, therefore the blood vessels tighten up in the shoulders when you sleep and this causes numbness and pain in the arms and hands. You should see a doctor and maybe get into physio, its helping a bit. I hope I have helped you a little. Take care, cindy
