Ok, I hope I dont confuse anyone who reads
this...
My boyfriends sister and I were best
friends. She had been really sick for 2
weeks; pale, not eating, sleeping all the
time, and she was always crying for no
reason. Everyone started complaining
about her, that she was faking it or
acting stupid because she claimed it was
so bad but hadnt went to the doctor. So I
convinced her to, and we went. We thought
she was pg but she was too scared to tell.
So at the doctor, they said she had
_____. I dont know what it was. And as
far as the pg thing, the doctor said
"ruby, you have _____, and you cant have
kids. It was some kind of disease.
I thought that you could only not have
kids by something physically abnormal, not
from disease.
And of course it freaked me out, cause I
had been dating her brother for 3 1/2
years, and we someday wanted to have kids
of our own. So now I thought it would be
impossible. We had been having
unprotected sex for 3 years, and I thought
hey, this is why I havent gotten pg...Luis
has it too. But what do you know, I
turned up preggy.
So I was wondering if a disease like that
runs in the family, but their mom has 5
kids, so how could ruby get it?
Or if the doctor was a quack?

There are std's that cause infertility if
not treated soon enough. Hpv is one of
them, and there may be others. Also
certain types of cervical or uterine
cancer and cysts can also cause
infertility.

I think it was the hpv one, cause I know
it was something her ex bf gave her (he
cheated and slept with a round about girl)
or something she caught from somewhere
thats what the doctor said (but cant you
only get it through sex?) and they gave
her medicine for it. Whats the real word
though?
