Delivery Question
Posted: 01-06-05 19:19pm

Ok evan and I really want his daugther to be up at the hospital when the baby is born so that she can see her right away. I don't want her in the room during labor and delivery because I don't want to scare her, but I really would like her there like right after. The problem is that I feel I should help talk to evan's ex-wife, because this is after all my labor and I don't want her to feel like I am trying to take her daughter away. However evan thinks this is a bad idea and just wants to talk to her by himself, am I pushing? Should I just let him handle his ex-wife and should I just back off and stay out of this?

Eh, I understand where your coming from. But if I was her, I would feel a little weird about you talking to me. I dont know what kind of person she is, but im really jealous. And its apperant they arent together anymore, but she might feel obligated and or uneasy. I would be more understanding if only he came to me. Actually, I would be pissed if his new girl came to me, I would feel like I was being attacked or they were rubbing it in my face. I dont think she would think your trying to take away her daughter or anything though. I dont know, he knows her best, so I think you should respect his request.

Ugh, I know you are both right, its just sooo aggrivating you know? I want to be mature about this and sit down with her, but I know she is livid with me still about the whole situation. I guess I need to grow up and listen to evan about this though huh? Lol

Stay out. You are asking for drama if you butt in. Let him deal with it.

Yeah just let him handle it, I know if someone came to me about my daughter, I would not be a happy camper. Im sure he can take care of this one on his own, if she donest want to-then maybe you can try talking to her
