Have you tried to profoundly change their diet and make sure, that they don't have a calcium deficiency?

Gummie vitamins? Isn't that the pest for bad teeth anyways? And the dentist would def not tell you that you have to check your kids for calcium deficiancy - he would be out of work! No doc would ever do that!
What is eating good? Not a lot of candy and junkfood is very positive... Instead of giving them the gummy vitamins (i'm absolutely sure that they consist of a high precentage of sugar and nothing else!) give them spinach (fresh), other green, leafy veggies, calcium enriched orange juice etc. To eat / drink. Try to buy organic. It is alway better to feed them the vitamins in their natural form, rather than chemical form. Check ingredients and nutrition facts of foods / drinks you feed them. I am almost 100% sure, that you will be able to influence your kids teeth and well being positively by changing their diets. As long as they are still so little, you will have it easier to change to a wholesome, healthy preferably organic diet with lots of fruits and veggies.

Yes, one gram of sugar for two vitamins (100% rdi?) is a lot! What I could recommend you is to really research this issue (and get ***educated*** in terms of nutrition, diet, nourishment, etc.), talk to a nutritionist, diet counsel, etc. There are ways to get them to eat healthier. And they obviously need it, otherwise there would not be such alarming issues concerning their health. Every time our body shows us signs that something is wrong, we should take that very seriously, especially when its our precious children!

... Its the nutrition! I am almost 100% sure... What else would it be? One doesn't just have "bad teeth", no way!

Noooo! Sky! Not at all! That was not my intention at all! That was absolutely not what I meant to say, but nutrition must have something to do with it, otherwise it wouldn't be like that, would it? It's nobody's fault at all! It's just a matter of improving certain habits for the better. I didn't mean to hurt you at all, believe me! Not at all, I am just trying to help!

And I don't think that the dentist knows whats best for them, the dentist knows first whats best for his wallet (we all need to survive, right?) and second whats best for your kids. Or he knows right away whats best for your kids, if you pay him enough!
And knowing whats best for kids should be left to parents, not doctors (a la "yes, doctor, do what ever you think is best for my kids"). You know what I mean? Don't get me wrong now...

Yes, I agree with you, totally... I def hope that he is more interested in his patients well being than his own! I guess, as long as you trust your kid's dentist there's nothing to say. But why do you think their teeth are bad?
