Has anyone had their membranes stripped? I had mine done today and I only had a few bad contractions but then they stopped. If you had it done what were your experiences?

My friend had hers done and she said that it hurt a little. Then a couple days later she was in labor. Good luck

I had my membranes stripped when I was 39 weeks and 5 days. I'm now 40 weeks and 1 day. I think the stripping hurt like hell. I am having my bloody show (i also had a little clotting) but still no contractions. Arg!
