Yesterday I woke up with a really bad sore throat and by time night time came around I now have the flu. My body hurts all over, I was throwing up last night, my ears, everything hurts. I dont know what kind of medicine I can take though with me being pregnant...So if any of you have any answers please tell me. I went to my Dr. Appt. Yesterday and didnt think anything about asking him cuz I wasnt really feeling that bad until after I had left. He wants to do another u/s on the 28th to measure everything but ill only be like....18 weeks and I told him id really like to try to find out what im having. Will they do another u/s after that? Anyways...Any answers would be great. Thanks.

I usually take sudafed, or robitussin my doc approved that for me, but I would double check with your doc first. They should be able to tell you over the phone so you dont have to make a special trip. As far as the u/s im sure if they can tell what it is theyll ask if you want to know and tell you. It depends on your insurance though if theyll do another one. Most insurance will only cover one u/s so you may have to pay if you cant find out . Around here it cost about 85 dollars.

If you have the flu. You might want to go see an md. There might be a prescription that they can give you. About the sono they should be able to tell you what you are having at that time. Uncroosed legs and baby dust for you. Good luck. Btw it is up to the doc if they do another u/s
