I'm a first timer and i'm 3 cm dialated and 50% effaced. I'm still not in labor. Isn't that unusual to be 3 cm and still nothing? Has anyone else had this happen?

You can stay that way for a little bit some people take forever to dilate. Walk go up and down stairs all that type of stuff. Or give one big push and you will go into labor. Good luck hun

ya I just noticed that :oops: im a geek. I was like omg that cant be possible. Then I read another post where she only had 11 days left and I was like oh ok. Duh!
