I am a 24 year old. I am engaged to get
married to a 38 year old. Friday we
found out that I am 7w3d pregnant. My
fiancé and I were using ecstasy, acid and
cocaine on a regular basis before we knew
that I was pregnant. I went to my
gynaecologist and he said that the baby
would be fine as long as I stop using
above-mentioned and alcohol. Is there
anyone out there who had a “drug baby” and
is the child ok? If there is no physical
damage, does the child have a low iq?
Any other disabilities?
My mother is also an obgyn and she said
that the first 3 months in a pregnancy are
crucial to major organ development and
because all of those drugs were in your
system regulary for almost the entire 2
months that major organ damage especially
that to the brain is highly possible. She
said that the only way to know for sure is
during an amniocentesis during the 16th or
17th week will determine actual damage,
while a u/s scan can determine abnormal
brain functions they won't be able to
determine the extent of the damage if any.

didnt know your mom was an obgyn..Thats
pretty cool....Was she urs when u had
cheyenne? You're pretty lucky to have
her, I know when I get preggo im gonna
wish my mom was one...Im gonna have so
many questions and worries its gonna be
crazy...Well just wanted to see what it

I used ectasy, coke, and marijuana before
I found out that I was pregnant...I used
ectasy a total of 6 times before I knew
that I was pregnant. I dont know if there
is going to be any problems or not but I
hope to god there isnt. I have stayed
clean since then from everything. If you
have already had a child while using drugs
can you please let me know if there was
any damage...Although everyone is
different I could have different effects
on my child then you could on yours...Get
back with any advice!!!
