I'm 23 yrs old, engaged for a year now. I was pregnant a year ago and misscarried. I started getting symptoms about 2 weeks ago. I got a home pregnancy test and came out positive on thursday. I'm happy, nervous, but don't want to get too excited yet. I don't want to be heartbroken as I was a year ago.

Ok well my last cycle was dec. 8th 2004. I didn't get it this month so I am aprox 4-6 weeks, i'm guessing. Is it too early to see my ob-gyn?

I would go see your ob, they can give you a blood test, and then youll be able to start prenatal care and regular doctors appointments. Congratulations, and good luck!!!

No its not to early.. I went through this similar situation except I have had 3 spontanious mis. Some doctors want to monitor you closely from the beginning because not to scare you but im sure you all ready know the first 12-13 weeks are the most critical. Good luck hun and we are all here if you need to talk

I'm getting really anxious to know how far along I really am. I can't wait! And it's only the beginning! I still don't want to get too excited yet, not until we reach 2nd trimester. We haven't even told any of our friends yet! My mom knows, and a few co-workers. I just can't wait!
