Woops! Sorry fish!

Lil-blaze- as you can see from my name, I am not steen. My names kourtney, im a completley different person there for what he does has no affect on me. So I don't know why you pointed that out to me? So he was telling people they were wrong, what does that have to do with me exactly?

I wonder if all the pro-life, "adoption is the answer" fundies ever think about this when they're protesting. Where do they think those unwanted babies would go if the women were forced to carry them to term?

kourtney--- did you not say "lets stick with opinions, and not tell each other "no you're wrong." no ones wrong, our opinions are our opinions, we're allowed to have them, and just because someone doesn't mean we need to start calling petty names and saying "well i'm smarter then you are." take that health question right back to middleschool where it belongs." ?????

Ya you did so that's why I was pointing it out to you. I wasn't trying to be rude. Just trying to explain why things seem to get so out of hand on this forum.

Yes of course I said that, im not denying it. Im saying that im not steen! So if hes telling people they're wrong that really doesn't have a thing to do with me. I was telling that to everyone not just jilee, she seems to do it a lot. Everyone has their opinions, no ones is more "right" then the other persons. Plain and simple.

i'm not arguing with you whatever you may think--lol I agree. I tried to state my opinion many times and the pro-choicers came running saying "no you're wrong, you're wrong" and it got to be a pain in the a$$. That's why I don't post as often in this forum.. I stick to my pregger forum.... :)

actually, the problem is when prolifers make claims of "facts" when those facts are no such thing. We saw it with the "abortion causes breast cancer" where the evidence against that "opinion" got so overwhelming that even jlee had to withdraw her absolutist and false claim. And most recently, we have seen it in fishx's claim of mehtotrexate causing harm to women using it for abortions. When "opinions" are expressed as if they are facts, and when there is evidence directly contradicting the claim, then the claim is wrong regardless of whether it is an "opinion" or not.

If your expressed "opinion" is that the world is flat, then your "opinion" is wrong regardless of how much you claim it to be an opinion.

If you say? I believe abortion is wrong, then that is fine. If you say 'abhortion is wrong because <insert false claim>" then it is no longer an opinion but rather a claim of facts. And that very certainly can be wrong.

So please, in your accusation against me, show where I have challenged an "opinion" that didn't express a false claim of "fact," please.

Or else retact your false accusation.

i already provided you with the evidence against your false claim of mtx being dangerous to women. I also provided the evidence against jlee's lies about abortion causing breast cancer. And I (and many others) also provided the evidence against the lies about the fetus feeling pain in 1st or 2nd trimester. These pieces of evidence are in the treads that discussed those issues.

We're talking about abortions, not whether the world is flat or not. Everyone knows its not.

Whether abortion is wrong or not is an opinion, and will stay that way.

very true. But whether or not abortion causes breast cancer (it doesn't), f.Ex., is not a matter of opinion, but rather a matter of factual scientific evidence.

Breast cancer, and abortion? Hmm.. Im not seeing how the two would connect at all. But really good try for whoever thought it up, or read it on some bogus site.

is it????? I don't think so... Once again if I had time to go through old posts one by one I would show you where you tell half of us we are wrong, even when we are just stating opinions.... And my blatant attempt was meant for more than one person but you and a couple of the others are the ones who kept coming on stating we were wrong....
