I was supposed to start a new pack the night of saturday january 1. Being that it was new year's day, the pharmacy was closed and I couldn't get my pills until the next day. When I got them on sunday afternoon, I took one (the one I was supposed to take the night before) right then and then another that night, which put me back on my regular schedule. I have been on the pill for about 6 months, so my body is pretty used to it I think. Do you think it is bad that I had sex without back-up that following thursday? Thanks!

You should be alright! They only recommend backup on the day you forget and the day you take the one you forgot I think.

I looked it up on my pills website and you should be ok... They don't suggest you need backup protection untill you've missed at least 2 pills in a week. Hope that's right! ~laura
