Is This Normal? Posted: 01-11-05 18:03pm
On december 19th I got my period and it
was abnormally heavy cause i'm usually
pretty light throughout the whole thing
but this was..Yeah haha. So yesterday I
was at work and felt like I was peeing
some or something so I went to the
bathroom and found out I got my
period..How lovely considering I had to
work a 6 hour shift and they don't have
any tampons or anything in the womens
bathroom but luckily I got one from my
co-worker/friend and was okay. What i'm
wondering is..Why is it so close together?
My periods are usually pretty spaced out
and right before I got my one in december
I felt weird..Like something wasn't right
inside or something. My mom wants me to
go to my gyno but I hate going there, it's
a guy and he just makes me nervous I
dunno..I may end up having to go anyway
just to get her off my back and to ease my
mind cause i'm worried that something may
be wrong since my periods are pretty
regular and these past two (including this
one)just were and are odd. Any ideas?

Hhmmm, well if youve had a baby recently,
maybe thats why. My friend had her baby,
and 6 months after she had weird periods,
like whenever, cause they couldent get
normal. I dont know why yours would do
that though. Maybe theres something
'broke' internally in there and its making
you bleed? I wouldent really worry about
1 month, but 2 months? Maybe you should
go see your doc. How old are you? I feel
funny with guy docs too, so dont feel bad.
When I was little I went to see a guy doc
and he kept pulling down my pants, and I
kept pulling them back up, and
just...Wouldent cooperate, so my mom took
me to the hostpital to get...Whatever, and
I had to end up being cathetorized. And I
hated it cause I was little and had like 4
nurses holding me down. And ive always
been scared of male doctors ever since.
Thankfully, I have 2 girl doctors to
deliver my baby.

No no didn't have a baby recently haha.
The only baby I ever had was my daughter
on april 7th 2002 and she was stillborn
so..Yeah. My sister thought that maybe I
have some type of vaginal infection or
something I dunno I got too distracted
with my 8 month old nephew to even really
listen to her. I'm 17 and h.A.T.E going
to my gyno..He's really nice and all but
when he puts the lube on his finger to
check inside I get all freaked out and
just feel like sitting back up and
crossing my legs..It's embarassing even if
they have seen other girls vagina's
throughout the day n what not. My mom
made an appt (without me knowing) with him
on the 24th of this month so hopefully
it's nothing too bad..I'm probably
overreacting anyways but better safe than
sorry. Congratulations on your baby btw!
