Why???? Posted: 01-11-05 23:13pm
Why does my uterus get really really hard
and then soften up and then get really
hard again, through out the day?
Sometimes it gets so hard that I feel as
if the baby might get injured! What is
this and what am I doing to cause it?

Oh ok. Braxton hicks I thought that those
only happened close to the end of your
pregnancy????? Why is everything
happening so fast for me? I already have
my milk, the baby was moving and kicking
at 16 weeks and now these braxton hicks
things, maybe I farther along than I think
I am!

Every pregnancy is different. Ihad them
with my son at 20weeks along and inever
knew it. This time around...Sometimes I
know it and sometimes I dont. Its natural
for things to happen sooner. But it
doesnt mean anything is going to happen
anytime soon. If the braxtons become
painful and you cant talk through them,
they may be the real things. But since
youre just noticing tightenings and then
it goes away, you're ok =o)
