With my first pregnancy I had a fluid leak
at 29 weeks. It was actually more like
one big gush of fluid while having sex I
had no symptoms like cramping or anything.
I am now 22 weeks with my second child
and I am getting cramping. I associated
this with braxtion hicks and my uterus
growing. In the recent days the cramping
has happen more often. Not like 5 or 6
times an hour but sometimes it will happen
a couple of times an hour then it wont re
appear for 4 or 5 hours. Its not
constant. Then yesterday I had this
feeling that I was leaking. I don't know
why. This morning I was pouring my
litlte girl some apple juice while sitting
down. When I was done I noticed my lap
(i was pantless...Lol) was wet but I
couldnt remember if I had spilled applce
juice or not. I went to the bathroom to
clean up and when I went to lift my leg up
there was this drop that ran down my leg.
It was clear...Defintaly not apple juice.
It didnt smell like urine. And even
though I do have urine leaks they have
never ran down my leg. It was just this
one drop and so far nothing else. My
question is do you think I may have a
fluid leak? I am most definatly calling
the dr as soon as the office opens up
which is in 25 mins. I'm just getting
scared now. Does anybody think it could
be something else?

It could be alot of things. They thought
the same thing with me but after they did
a test it came back nrg. If you think
that is what it is . It can repair itself
but you need to lay on your side and
switch left to right. And make sure you
drink plenty of water to replenish the
fluids. They replenish every three hours.
Other than that take it easy put on a pad
so if you are leaking anything it will
catch it. Good luck to you hun....... I
know how you feel. Im only 21 weeks now

Been there and done that. I had james at
28 weeks and zachary at 32. I was in the
hospital for weeks I hated it. Esp when
you have other children.

Thanks taz.
Hopfully things are good. The phones
dont open till 9am here I guess they have
to get their daily affairs in order.
I'll keep you updated. If I don't
respond today then its because i'm in the
hospital. If I don't respond for weeks
its because they sent me to edmonton.
They almost did that last time around.
Thanks again

Hey,
everything is fine. Turns out it wasnt
anything. I got a stress test and an
ultrasound and everything looked good.
My husband got mad because he wanted to
know the sex and she said she didnt look
and then when she went to show him the
baby he pretty much demanded to see
inbetween the legs (he's not a rough guy
but 3 of our friends are having boys and
he wants one) as she started to show us
we both saw something sticking up but once
he said he saw it she moved away from the
spot really quick....He of course asked
her to go inbetween the legs again and she
did..I couldnt see anything but she was
moving it around too much and didnt really
concentrate on one spot. So we still
don't know what it is yet...But I have a
scheduled ultrasound on the 24th.
Thanks again
