Uterine Cramps While Pregnant
Posted: 01-13-05 07:38am

I would appreciate any replies to my question. I found out about a week ago that I am pregnant. I have a doc appt. This week, but I am worried about some symptoms ive had. For the last few weeks, I have had pretty bad uterine cramps. It feels just like it does when I have my period. I dont know if that's normal or if there could be something wrong. Has anyone else experienced cramping while pregnant. I think im between 8-10 weeks along. :?: :?

Yea, I had cramping. If it concerns you enough you can call the doc, that's what they're there for!

Uterine cramps do scare us all but actually they are really common unless it is associated with bleeding. The doctor told me that the pains is just your uterus growing and getting larger. If you are un comfortable at all and you dont have a doc. Yet go to the emergency room they can check everything out for you as well. Or if you have a doc. Call the office and one of the nurses will be more than happy to talk to you about it.

Good luck

Well, does that have anything to do with pregnancy, because me and my partner have been trying for months and nothing has happened and on two occasions my period came a week early, I just would like to know why I can't get pregnant, because we have sex like every day or every other day, what should I do, because I really would like to know any advice would help thanks.

don't have sex as much. Only have sex when you are ovulating. That's when it finally happened for me and hubby. Lol

you need to figure out when u r ovulating and try around then becuz I was told that when u are ttc, its not good to have sex everyday becuz sperm isnt as strong the more you have sex constantly...U have to give him a few days for his sperm to build up...At least thats what my doc told me....But I figured out when I was ovulating, my most fertile day, and I had sex on that exact day once the day before once and the day after once...And now im 14w 2d preggo....Good luck....

Uterine Cramps: I Went to the Dr
Posted: 01-13-05 17:51pm

Hello people, well I started having a few cramps earlier so I called my doctor and she told me to come in well, they did a urine and blood test to determine whether I was pregnant or not, so I gotta wait for the blood work, well I have two appts scheduled for the next two weeks, an ob-gyn appt and radiology for a pelvic exam, i'm scared because its possible I either have had a tubal pregnancy or cancer, has anyone experienced any of this, I also have a urinary tract infection, my question is why take a blood test for pregnancy when the urine came back negative, does anyone have any advice. Lex

well the reason for the blood test is because your hcg level could be elevated and that would be a sign of pregnancy. Also that would tell them what there next step would be. The pelvic exam will tell them if there is in deed a uterine preg. Or any signs of one, and it will also be able to locate where the preg. Is if you are in deed preg. Good luck to you

Well, I thought that if the pg test cam e back negative then there would be no need for a blood test. I am kinda hoping I am, we have been trying for months, but my period is due for next week or the following week, so does that mean its possible or is it just a precaution, someone please tell me what's going on, if you have to go in detail, there is also my private messages. Lex
