"facts" Vs. Feelings

Who is anyone in this forum or anywhere
for that matter to say any sites with
feelings are lies.
Sure there are all kinds of scientific
statistics on abortion but who is anyone
to say sites with opinions or feelings are
lies.
This whole forum is getting ridiculous.
Anytime anyone posts anything about
someone's feelings they are called liars.
Who cares about bloody science???(you
know what I mean) I think the way someone
feels is more important than some numbers.
Also just because a site is not a
government site does not mean it is full
of lies. Enough is enough of the liar
argument!!!

Exactly, give me all the numbers you want,
but I thought pro-choice was about the
individual woman

saying, "i think abortion is wrong" is a
feeling. Saying "9 out of 10 women who
abort will have 'pas' " is a lie, since
that has been established to not be the
case.

i'm talking about when we link sites that
have personal testimonials and we're still
called liars or whatever cause it's not
"scientific"

i don't consider those sites "lies" but I
also don't consider them grounds for
making abortion illegal.

How can you limit abortion? It is either
wrong or it isn't.. That simple. The
fourth fetus isn't any more valuable than
the first and it's not the laws duty to
make sure people are being responsible if
their "lack" of responsibility isn't 100%
proved to harm someone. Otherwise
overeating, smoking, gambling, excessive
spending and any other irresponsible
behavior would be banned.

women that go and get an abortion
everytime they get pregnant to me is
wrong. They should be sterilized. If
someone is gonna keep getting abortions
then they are not "fit" to be a parent and
should not even have the option of
conceiving. Imo

That brings me to the point that if you
think women who get abortions are so
selfish and immature than what makes you
think that would be good parents? Also
their are millions of people up for
adoption just waiting, why do we need
3000+more? I mean, you've all seen what
happens when people who aren't ready for
parenthood are forced into it. Just look
at the andrea yates case. She was
clearly not fit to be a parent so that
just proves that having a uterus does not
qualify you to be a parent.. A born baby
is not a doll, it's a live human being and
some people can't even take care of their
own selfs let alone another being that
needs ten times more attention and care
then a grown person and that's ones
without disabilites. You really have to
be good parent material to deal with one
with disabilities. You will probably be
like "ok, well then she shoudl adopt it
out".. Well we have gone over this
before, the father of the child has to
consent and like you said.. Some people
can get attached to it after a while and
just can't give it up. And again what
about when someone gets pregnant and
already has a few kids? How is that kid
going to feel if it finds out it's mom has
other kids that she kept but gave him/her
up?

I also have to say that I am so sick of
the *liar liar* argument....Personal
experiences are not lies...
We can't even long on without being
attacked and it's really annoying.

Bd-did you watch Dr. Phil yetserday??
It was about adoption from all sides.
There was a woman who called herself an
adoption success story and she met her
birth mom and sister and had no hard
feelings towards her birth mother because
she knew it was done out of love.
And women who go and get 1 abortion cause
of an error in judgement i'm sure will
make a great mom one day but women who
keep getting them....??????

their kids in a car and abuse thier

motherhood instinct.. That's why my mom
chose drugs and alchy over me. Whatever

Pro-choice are definitely not the only
one's who are calling people liars.
B/c is not 100% effective.
I know of 100's and 1,000's of adoptions
that have not gone thru.
Sincerely,
sandy

i agree about better education on bc, but
disagree about limits on how many
abortions a woman can get. For one, it's
nobody's business how many abortions
someone has and for another, it's
unenforceable.

i am adopted and I would never do that to
a child. I know what it's like to gorw up
not knowing who you are or where you came
from. Besides, I am not willing to
gestate a pregnancy, period.
