Im Kinda Scared Guy's, Im Sure It's Nothing..... Posted: 01-14-05 12:11pm
Ok, I had to go to the doc this morning,
they called me in for an ultrasound
because of my last visit. Apparently
their were a few thing's the gyno forgot
to go over with me. Well I went and baby
is deff. Head down and engaged,
ultrasound showed that but she said that
my fluid was low. I had the test earlier
for fluid and it came back positive but
today the ultrasound varified it just to
make sure it wasn't a false positive. My
due date is right around the corner so im
wondering, does this mean im getting alot
closer? Is something wrong? She didn't
really explain, all she said was that she
would give my u/s result's to the main doc
and then they would call me back. I also
got a ruff weight estimate and she said
right at 6lbs, kinda small but I was 5lbs
8oz when I was born and was healthy. I
just don't know what they were saying or
what there gonna do? I only spoke with
the u/s tech and she said she can't
diagonse anything, that I had to wait on
the doc to call me back. The suspense is
killing me, I wonder if there going to
induce or what? What do ya'll think?

They might hun if it is a serious threat
to the baby but if not since u are so
close anyways they might just wait it
out....Just wait and see wat ur doc

Ftmommy,
everythingis okay. They will watch you
closely. It is normal during the last
trimester for the fluids to become lower.
I have/had the same thing but to me at
this time it was dangerous it is call
oligohydraminos. Is that what she called
it?

lil while ago and said they want me to
come back tues for another u/s, so im
thinking that maybe since im considered
"term" that they will induce. I would
feel much better if they did. They didn't
really say why they wanted to do another
u/s but im guessing to check the fluid
again?
