in memory of my parents im trying to make them proud, by entering myself in drug treatment, right now I am struggling, its been not even 2 wks and im using after having a child. For those who dont know ive been using again: meth, coke and pot. This puts my children in a hard spot. I have decided to get treatment, tomorrow (the anniversary) I meet with fairview-riverside staff to decide whether I should be in or out patient.

my parents died when I was 3.5 they were stabbed, the killer was never found.
I used a bit in the beginning when I wasnt sure I was, but not during, its pretty dumb how I didnt use during that time but as soon as she's out it was "ok" to use

well good luck. I stopped coke cold turkey almost 8 years ago and smoking trees..Well I stopped 2 days after finding out I was preggo. (that's been hard) used to be a big ex and speed user and stopped about 4 years ago after having complications to my health. I don't really find smoking weed a horrible thing (while pregnant I wouldn't do it but after/before..) i'm actually legally allowed to smoke pot. I have a doc's note--lol all depends on the person though. I know some people that smoke and they are burnoutsssss and I know others like me who smoked everyday and did well in school and work and it's not a huge deal. But I think it would be best if you stopped everything!

Lil_blaze... Why do you have a prescription for it? Don't they only give those out when you're sick?

Hey hilary. I'm so sorry about your parents. I know your parents are proud of you for getting help. I know it's hard, but you will do it. Your babies will be great motivation. Just think of them 5 or 10 years from now and think about what kind of life you want for them. The time will go by so fast and we need to change now for them. And teach them how to be healthy. I'm in a similar situation. I don't want my girls to struggle with their weight so i'm changing now and I will teach them good habits. I will pray for you, please pray for me. Take care.
