no, that is not why. As I have explained many times by now, for any feeling to be registered and felt, the signal has to reach the brain's cortex where all such processing takes place. And that final connection to the cortex does not occur until the end of the 26th week of pregnancy.

*that* is why the fetus does not feel pain early in pregnnacy. *that* is why prolifers repeating that falsehood are lying, because you have all been shown the scientific sources for that connection happening in week 26.

So no, the prolife lie about fetal pain in early pregnancy is not because I am justifying abortion or feeling guilty, but rather because the *fact* is that the fetus does not feel pain early in pregnancy.

Can you perhaps see the difference? I kind of doubt it. You have not shown yourself to honest or with to much integrity until now. If you however actually can recognize a fact for what it is, I will be pleasantly surprised.

You know what? I'm really sick of this board always favoring the prochoice movement. And steen, it really makes me sick the lengths that you will go to make abortion seem ok. I have already said that your statistics could be a lie. How can you be so sure that when people are surveyed that they are 100% honest? How can you be so sure they don't lie about using birth control or contraception because they don't want people to think them to be irresponsible and/or lazy? So until you can prove to me that these people are telling the truth, your statistics mean nothing to me.
