Are Cramps Normal In Early Pregnancy ?? Posted: 01-15-05 13:59pm
I really need some advice here.... I
started getting abdominal cramps about a
week ago, 2 days before my period was due.
I usually get them immediatly before the
period starts but this time- no period.
So I missed my period and after I was 5
days late I took a pregnancy test that
came out positive. ( that was just this
morning) I am worried though because I
still have the cramps, every few hours
they last about 15 minutes or so and then
go away. Is this normal for early
pregnancy?? I am dying to find out and I
cant go to the doctor until monday...
Someone please help!!!

Cramping in early pregnancy is normal. I
had cramping and spotting until almost my
12 week mark with my first child. But
if you get any heavy bleeding and clotting
go to the hospital right away.
