Could I Be Pregnant? Help! (spotting...)
Posted: 01-15-05 20:53pm

I was reading some information about early signs of pregnancy and realized that I could be experiencing one of them. It said that around 8-10 days after ovulation, little pink spots would show up in your underwear (spotting) and that it would occur a few days before your period was supposed to start. Well, last night this had happened, as well as this morning. I'm supposed to start my period in the next 3 or 4 days and today is exactly 8 days since the last time I had sex with my boyfriend. We used protection and he didn't even cum inside me, but i'm still not sure. I was wondering if perhaps I could be pregnant or if my body is just cleansing itself of tissues. Which would be more likely? Any other information about spotting would be greatly appreciated.

No one can really tell you at this point. I think you should wiat it out or get a hpt that test 5 days early and take it. Or wait for your period to come. Good luck hun

Could I Be Pregnant?
Posted: 01-16-05 12:23pm

My period started on january 13th and today is the 16th. My period started out light and the next day it seemed to be a normal period, but on the 3rd day of my period I was just spotting. I had to use a pad, but I never spotted enough to have to change it throughout the entire day. Today it seems to be the same way and it is only day 4 of my period. My period is normally 5 or 6 days long and it seems as if it is stopping after 3 1/2 to 4 days. I have felt kind of nauseated, had sore breasts, seem to go to the bathroom a lot more, have been tired quite a bit during the day, but have trouble sleeping through the night a lot. Could I be pregnant even though my period started out normal and then got spotty a couple days later?

I had a similar situation but doc's say it was implantation bleeding which normally happen's around the time your period would have. I always use tampon's and with the bleeding I had a painty liner did the job. If you are worried I would speek with your doctor or do a test. Also my b/f at the time didn't cum in me either, he pulled out and now im fixin to pop this baby out:) so to be on the safe side and let you know what's going on I would check w/ a doc! Good luck hun and keep us posted!

Another Pregnancy Question
Posted: 01-17-05 00:46am

I have read that sinus pressure and congestion can be a sign of pregnancy. I have noticed a lot more sinus pain lately along with my other symptoms that I mentioned in my last post. I am thinking I might go and buy a hpt tomorrow and test first thing tuesday morning. My period has never been this spotty before especially in the 3rd and 4th day. I usually have my period for 5 or 6 days and today being the 4th day I had some cramps this afternoon, but not severe enough to take anything and it made me feel like I had heavier bleeding, but I didn't really at all. Do you really think I could be pregnant? My bf uses the pull out method all the time. We never use protection and I am quite surprised that I haven't gotten pregnant because we have been having unprotected sex at least 2 times a week for 6 months now and most of the time we have sex more often around the time I am ovulating it seems like. Let me know what you think. Thanks

Hey Jess...

It's really hard to say. Woman ovulate at all times during the month. We used the pull out method all the time also and for about 3-month's nothing ever happened, I guess he caught me at the right time...Lol....I actually ovulated 6-7 day's before I was supposed to start my next period. Either I ovulated late from my last period or really early. But they say women should be careful at all times during the month. My cousin once thought that you couldn't get pregnant if you were on you period and used the pull out method and now she has a 6yr old son! But there are alot of women on this forum who used the pull out method and became pregnant. Deff. Take a test. My very first symptom was severe fatigue, then I had to urinate so bad one day that I didn't make it to the bathroom on time..Oops:)...But it is hard to say if it sounds like you are pregnant or ot, woman experiance pregnancy different. But I do know that all though the pull out method work's sometimes it is not %100. But if you really feel you are or are worried at all I think the test is your best option. Im not sure if I have helped any but hopefully some. Are you ok if you are? Have you spoke with your boyfriend? Let us know hun.

I haven't talked to my bf about the whole thing. I am going to wait until after I take the test because if I am not pregnant then there won't be anything to tell him. Even though we are not married I am kind of hoping that I do get pregnant. I am ready to start having children. I currently live with my boyfriend so whatever happens is what is meant to be I guess. I am ok with being pregnant if I am. I want to have children so bad. I am taking the test first thing tomorrow morning.
