So My Af Came...
Posted: 01-16-05 01:35am

I stopped taking the pill at the end of november and my two periods since then were very light and not too painful at all. I got it today, along with the worst cramps of my life, but they only lasted for an hour. It was the worst pain i've experienced from anything. I was shaking all over too.. No idea why. I thought maybe if I had been preg. I was having a misscarriage, but I don't think it was. I know the pill made my cramps and period light, but I don't remember my cramps being this bad before. Is it normal for them to be like this coming off the pill? My husband got home from work and almost took me to the hospital it was so bad. I'm totally fine now though. Can someone tell me if this has ever happened to them?

When you get off the pill your body is re adjusting to everything.
Yes you can have real bad cramps. My bf sister gets them real bad like that and she cries. She went to the doctors/hospital and they ran test on her and they said that it was normal. All her test came back normal as well. I hope you are feeling better though. Oh they did tell her to take warm baths to ease the pain, and warm compresses.

Thanks tazzy, that is such a relief. My husband came home and did the hot bath thing for me, and as soon as I got in they went away... I think the pain pills kicked in then too. Thanks for replying! :)
