Sorry, this is kind of overly-detailed,
but it's been driving me crazy -- the
possibility of my having been pregnant is
terrifying:
i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on
the last day of my period, december 3 of
last year; I expected my next period to
begin on or around december 29th -- my
cycle's pretty reglar. In early january,
I started feeling nausea, vomiting in the
mornings, pretty standard morning sickness
behavior, from what i've read. I took a
pregnancy test on january 5, which came
back negative. On january 6 what I
assumed was my period came, but it was far
heavier than usual and has continued until
now, the 16th, with no sign of slowing
down, and on the fifth day of bleeding a
fairly large chunk of tissue came with the
blood. I usually have a 3-5 day bleeding
cycle, so you can see why this is
alarming.
My question is whether it's possible that
I was pregnant and lost the baby.
Miscarriage would not exactly surprise me,
as I am a regular smoker and had been
exposed to contact smoke from
methamphetamines on a fairly regular basis
during the period during which I would
have been pregnant. But if this were the
case, the pregnancy test would have been
positive wouldn't it? So am I making
something out of nothing? I'm not
worried for the immediate future, but am
sick with the anxiety of not knowing.
(silver lining: either way, this has
convinced me to stop smoking during my
child-bearing years, cut off exposure to
chemical fumes, and I started taking folic
acid -- never too early to worry -- so
that's a good thing.)
thoughts? Information?

It is a possibility that you where
pregnant, but I dont know for sure. If
you really think you mis. The best advice
I can give you is to go to a doctor to get
checked out. They need to rule out some
stuff like..... That all the particles
ex. Sac and whatever all came out. I
dont think you mis. But im no doctor. I
wish you luck hun.......

I was worried that might have been what
happened to me too, but I didn't go see a
doctor. I didn't really think of that as
a possibility til like a week or so
after... Ur problem sounds a lot like
what happened to me.
