Very Stressed Out!!! Posted: 01-17-05 00:20am
Ok, i'm four months pregnant as of friday,
on saturday, my fiance and I were having
sex, and after I started to spot, not a
red blood, but a pinkish blood, I went to
the hospital, they did a test on the
baby's heartbeat and said everything was
ok, but i'm still worried that something
could be wrong. Has this happened to
anyone before??? This is the first time
i've spotted since I became pregnant. I'm
also getting some cramping, not severe
cramps but it's uncomfortable. Any advise
anyone?

Spotting after sex is very normal.
Cramping is too. Almost everything is
normal in pregnancy. Don't stress out,
it's not good for you or the baby.

I had spotting after sex. It wasn't
enough to make me call the doc or go the
er, but I did ask friends about it. It's
normal. Your cervix is softer, more
sensitive and easily irritated. I wasn't
put on pelvic rest. It would be hard to
abstain for so long plus 6 weeks after
baby comes...Damn. Lol

Ditto to what the other posters said
all of it is very normal hun. The
cramping is like braxton hicks afterwards.
Tightning and stuff. I hope you feel
better

Thanks guys, I feel a lot better, I just
can't wait till I start feeling the baby
move, then my mind will be at rest. It's
so hard right now cause you can't feel
what the baby is doing....
