Q: Early Detections?

My last period ended 18-19 days ago. My husband and I havent been trying to conceive and have been using protection. A couple of months ago I miscarried at 4 weeks. The past few days ive been feeling light headed, tired, having headaches, and nauseous. I feel like its too soon to be feeling symptoms. Has anyone else had symptoms this early?
Also, im having trouble understanding how to count the weeks. Do you count from the date of conception, or the date of your last period?
Is it too early to take a pregnancy test?
Thanks for any stories or advice!

If you have been using protection I wouldnt think that you are pregnant. I would think that the protection worked but in some cases you could be if there was a defect in the protection or a tear or anything. Everyones symptoms are different and it is hard to tell you when you would feel something, but I started feeling stuff between 7 and 8 weeks. Good luck hun. Go get a blood test to confirm if you are in deed pregnant.

Thanks for the response.
I know it would be strange if we got pregnant while using protection, but I guess it happens. I feel all the symptoms I felt a few months ago when I was pregnant.
Whats the earliest to take a home preg. Test?

Normally it is best to wait a day after you missed your period, but a blood test admin. By a doctor can tell as early as one week preggo.

It def does happen. Just happened to a friend of mine in fact, she's due late aug. Anyway, you can take a first response test up to five days before your missed period or any test after your missed period. I felt symptoms around 5 weeks. And about counting, usually take the date of your last period minus 7 days 3 months to get a due date. Hope that helps.
