Constant Pain

I'm new to the forum so not sure exactly how this works. Here's my story. Pain in upper abdominal daily for 4 + years, back pain that has worsened in the past year - can be anywhere in the spine from neck to lower back. I have mild arthritis in my neck, otherwise mri doesn't show anything. My back feels tight and jammed. My stomach gets worse when I eat but hurts even if I don't eat. Lying down with heating pad helps. I've had my gallbladder removed, ecrp for sphincter of oddi dysfunction and exploritory surgery, all to no avail. I went to john hopkins for over a year, had several endoscopies, colonoscopies, mri, ct scans, ultrasound, upper and lower gi, hida scan and many, many others. Had trigger point and facet joint injections and taken an incredible amount of medicine. I take oxycontin and vicadin daily. I have no idea what else to do. Help! Any ideas?

a Thought

I would not normally think of emailing anyone with what i'm about to say but after reading your post I was genuinely aghast at how many treatments and operations you ad tried and received! This truly deserves an exclamation mark as to still, after all that searching, to not really know the true cause.? Well, flabberghasted is theonly word I need.

I then had a thought pop in my head, 'has she tried a regression?' and then I thought why would she think of trying that? For what reason could she or anyone think that going back through time would help? Regression is about being hypnotised and 'regressed' back through your life/lives to find healing. This can be physical, emotional, spiritual, mental etc. I had an image of something that might have happened to you in a previous life and it fit your symptoms well. I am not qualified to say anymore and I urge you to look at websites that explain and give testimonials about regression.

Thanks you for listening, if you think this a load of old monkey doo that's okay too. I had to tell you anyway.

Regards

Dear charleymom

it sounds like your really suffering, all my best that they'll soon find a treatment that helps you. When did your symptoms start i.E. After a pregnancy or due to a job where you could have had "repetitive movement" injuries ?

Your symptoms sound a bit like my husband's symptoms....Stomach aches, back problems, arteritis in joints, headaches...He's a bit overweight, doesn't exercise nor eat balanced and has an it job....

He's done mri scans, bloodtests, endoscopy and a lot more and now has regular physiotherapy

some of his symptoms were also linked to that fact that his dad died a year ago and he didn't deal with it very well...

Good luck to you
