Well they did another ultrasound and the
fluid level went back up but only a
little. They said that he could have just
urinated. So she said since the level was
back up some she wanted to wait and do
"another" u/s on thursday, that's if I
don't have him before. She didn't check
me for dilation she just said she would do
that on thursday. I wish she would just
go ahead and do something but it look's
like she is not going to! She told me to
just drink alot of fluid's.
Ok, heres what I did...Lol... On the way
home mom and I stopped and got some castor
oil. I took it about 8:30pm and about
1:30am I started having some "major"
cramp's, after those faded off I began to
have some really hard contraction's. But
it is now morning(11:00am) and nothing
happened, other than getting cleaned out
really good....Lol....(sorry, I know
gross) but is that stuff suppose to work
right away? Or take time? I have been
cramping some this morning, not bathroom
pain's but more vaginal pain and back
pain. Grrrrr....I just wish he would
hurry and get here. Also she said I had
the group b strep, im confused about that.
She said it was nothing to worry about
but she told me my baby could get a really
bad infection, she even said some babies
die! And then she say's don't worry..Yeah
buddy!!! On top of the fluid and now this
and him barely moving at all....Im
worried...She said I probably just wasn't
noticeing movement, but I know my baby and
my body and she just doesen't listen, oh
well. Anyone else done the castor thing,
did it worl right away?Next day? What
about this group b stuff? Sorry guy's I
know this is long. Couldn't help
it..Heehe

Hey hun,
never tried the oil thingy so I cant help
you there. Strep b is dangerous if the
baby has contracted it but they give you
some kind of meds before delivery to help
im not sure what it is called so ill do
some research and get back to you

I know she said I would half to be hooked
up to iv antibotic's but she also said
when my water breaks to leave for the
hospital immediately instead of waiting on
contraction's. She said it gives more
room for the passage of infection if I
wait.

Lol..hey Jlee Posted: 01-19-05 15:30pm
It was gross..Lol...It is a very yucky
tasting laxitive, it don't taste good I
know that, I just closed my eyes held my
nose and down it went but the thought of
it now makes me wanna throw up..Lol....The
strep test they did to me towards the end,
I guess about 38week's, something like
that. They just told me that alot of
women get a vaginal infection and that it
was a type of bacteria. I have been doing
alot of reading on it and I have read that
it is common and apparently normal in a
lot's of women. But yeah the castor oil
thing was ruff..Lol....I had called my
grandmother who has 6 kid's and asked her
about it before I did it. She said she
drank it and then had her son within 5hrs
or so of doing it, she told me just to
make sure and get a pillow and sleep by
the toliet!!! Well obvisouly the little
booger wasn't ready to come out so I just
spent the night in the bathroom..Lol
