I started showing around 14 weeks. I'm now almost 21 weeks and huge. I have friends who are 34 weeks that are the same size as I am. Arghhh. Whyy?

I'm usually 48kg (about 110 pounds) and 160cm (about 5'3).
Ladies, could there be any explanations for this?
Water retention, etc?

I am a few days shy of 20 weeks and I am showing hugely!! I started showing at about 3 months if not sooner. It wasn't like "wow look at her preggo belly" and it wasn't that distinguished round hard belly look, but it was deffinatly bigger. Now at almost 20 weeks I look very pregnant. But thankfully it is only in my stomache area. Hopefully it will stay that way. Everyone thinks it's going to be a massive boy, lol because of how much weight I have gained quickly. I have an ultrasound on tuesday, so hopefully I will be able to find out then!

But don't worry that you are not showing yet. My mom didn't start showing untill about 7 and a half to 8 months. And then I was born at 8 months. Lol.

I'm 12 weeks today and I find it strange that I haven't gained any weight on the scales but my stomach looks bigger. Weird!

I have only gained 2 lbs since august 15th. I am now 29.5 weeks and I believe I have twins. I guess I am lucky--but it seems like I cannot keep up with my hunger and still my body looks like it is loosing weight, except for my belly of course.

When I discovered I was preggy, I weighed 125 or less. Now, at 26 weeks I am an astonishing 165 (belly weight) granted you can see it in my face a little but I am all belly. Within 1 month I gained 12 lbs., the next month I gained another 12 lbs. My doctor was worried about the initial weight gain but realized that I was under weight during conception. I am on schedule so he says I just have to be careful not to over due myself. We're thinking that this is going to be a large baby and are trying to avoid c-section by all means. Hopefully he won't put me on a special diet. I have been warned that sugar increases the baby's birth weight but just recently discovered that! Lol so i'm 7 months to late with the sugar issue!!

I always eat my calories in the right foods. I avoid fast food (as much as possible) and try to drink nothing but water. Sometimes I splurge but I have to take my health and the health of my baby into consideration now!

I am starting to show, and I am only 9 weeks. It is my second child though. I know that can make a difference. With my first I didn't show till 20 weeks.
