My Yucky Vitamins*
Posted: 01-19-05 22:16pm

My vitamins are the #1 source of all my nasuea and throwing up! Just the thought of taking them makes me sick! Anyone else ever have this problem?? I stopped taking them daily and I read that that is okay. When I go see my Dr. I'm going to ask him for smaller ones or something....

Hey hun,
its okay just let your doctor know. He/she will do one or the other change the prescription or tell you something over the counter to purchase that will work just as well. I hope your feeling better..

I used to be like that with vitamins aswell. I just had to look around for capsules, it seems to work for me......Although I can only get folic acid in the tabs. I never take them with just water, it still makes me want to be sick when I do. I usually have flavoured water or something just so I cant taste it at all. Goodluck :)

I've never had a problem with them either, of course I keep forgetting to take them  , i'm really not good with remembering to take pills, hence the reason i'm pregnant. Lol.

Two suggestions!

1) try taking with milk or a meal!
2) try switching... Like my first prenatals I loved but then my doc insisted I try these other ones which I am still taking and I hate but they used to make me totally sick but I just started drinkign like a glass of milk with them and I would be fine

but yeah try shopping around for a different type or brand

Rainbow light prenatal one. They are 100% plant based, you only have to take one of them a day and they're easy on the stomach... They also contain ginger which helps relieve nausea and they are covered with vegetable glaze which makes them slip down easily...
