ok well the pain probably started about 5
months ago and started out as nothing that
really bothered me. It gradualy got
worse and now i'm starting to get worried.
The pain is in the back of my neck and
in the middle of my back. What I have to
constantly do is sort of lift my body
upwards to crack my back and move my neck
side to side to fix my neck.
My mom has always told me I have bad
posture, could this be the problem, or
that I am pretty skinny?
Thanks

:roll:it sounds like you may want to get
checked by a rheumatologist and ask for a
hlab-27 gene test. There's a systemic
auto immune disease (as) which has like
symptoms. You're in the right age and
weight group. If this bears fruit you may
want to check out ka forum for as group
that is very helpful to me.
Best in your search,

I'm not a doctor but I also have
ankylosing spondilitis. It is a chronic
disease but can be managed either through
diet (no starch) or the newer tnf drugs
like enbrel or humira. I don't know if
you've already investigated your back
problems with your doctor. ?? The auto
immune diseases also carry other
identifying markers such as uveitis,
fatigue, rash ect. Hopefully this is not
the case for you. As can be hard to get
dxed as the symptoms are as individual as
the people themselves, only a rheumy can
determine the markers for you. I wish you
luck in your search.
