Driving With Cerebral Palsy Posted: 01-21-05 14:47pm
I am a 37 year old woman living with cp.
My cp is mild on my left hand side. 1o
years ago I fianally accomplished driving
a car. I had to go through two doctors to
ok my cp in order to enroll in drivers
training or I would not be allowd to
drive.
I recently went for my exam and I failed
my visionsfield test. I can not see any
perifial vision (sp)in both eyes on the
lefthand side. The doctors now say that
they reccomend that I don't drive. I have
never been in an acident, never had
tickets. Has anyone ever delt with this
before that can give me some light at the
end of the tunnel I don't want to loose my
driver's license
