Easing Symptoms of Zoloft Withdrawal Posted: 01-23-05 14:05pm
I'm sure many of you have used and stopped
using zoloft in the past. I'm currently
stopping myself and am running into a
little trouble. I was on 200mg/day for
about a year and a half and have been
working down for the last 3 weeks.
Basically 100mg/day/week, 50mg/day/week,
and 25mg/day/week. Well now i'm out of
the med and am experiencing some of the
more uncommon symptoms of withdrawal. I
get "lighting bolt" reflexes (feels like
electro shock) about every 30mins and am
in a weird state of dizziness. Also it
seems i'm wired for anxiety...Kind of like
in a state of wait until something
unexpected happens...Then my body just
jerks (like being spooked I guess). I
have read that all these are some symptoms
of zoloft withdrawal, but what can I do to
lessen these? There has to be something,
right?
Anyway, any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
