I Could Be.. Who Knows? Posted: 01-23-05 19:38pm
Well, I think I am pregnant. I took the
test. And it came out positive. I'm so
scared. I have no idea what's ahead of
me. I feel so lost. I haven't told my
mom yet but i'm planning to really really
soon.
The first day of my last period I think
was on december 9, 2004 and I didn't get
my period last january 9, 2005 and i'm
always right on time. So, I got scared
and took the test.
How do kids my age cope with this? I'm in
a relationship with my baby's father.
Which kind of makes me feel better.
I grew up in a broken family and its true
what they say that its the kids who suffer
in the separation of the parents. You
see, I don't want my kid growing up like
me.
It came to me that i'm not the only one
affected here. There's a whole bunch of
people. Especially my boyfriend, who's
just 18 and in first year college and my
baby.
Anyone, please don't hesitate to give me
some pointers. I'm only 16.

First of all you need to tell your mom and
make a doctors appointment. You also
need to tell your boyfriend. By telling
your mom may be able to help from feeling
so lost. You and your boyfriend can
think about giving the baby up for
adpotion. That is unless you want to keep
it. The choice is up to you and your
boyfriend. But either way you go you will
be a good mom.

How to Deal?? Posted: 01-23-05 21:06pm
I'm planning on keeping my baby. So,
yeah. And i've already told my boyfriend
and he too wants to keep it since, its
ours.
Abortion is out of the question.
I tried the pregnancy calculator at
amazingpregnancy.Com.. Today is sunday
january 23rd 2005.
You conceived on thursday december 23rd
2004
and your due date is thursday september
15th 2005.
31 days have passed since the conception,
and you are 235 days before your due
date.
You are 6 weeks into your pregnancy,
and you have 34 weeks to go.
You are in the 1st trimester.
The baby:
baby has grown a quite a bit this past
week. The average embryo is about .16
inch at this stage. This measurement is
taken from crown to rump. This is the
beginning of the embryonic period. It
lasts until your 10th week. Lots of
important growth takes place during this
time. There are three germ layers - the
ectodermal, which becomes the central and
peripheral nervous systems, skin, hair,
nails, sweat glands and more. The
mesodermal layer, which becomes muscle,
cartilage, blood vessels, kidneys and
spleen, and lastly, the endodermal, which
forms the liver, pancreas, bladder,
tonsils, thryroids gastrointestinal tract
and respiratory system. The limb buds can
be seen, eyes are forming and the heart
begins to beat.
After reading this, I just couldn't help
but cry. My baby's heart is staring to
beat...
Tell me more about... Everything!
Is there like some depression thing or
what?

Well, I know you are scared, but remember
everything happens for a reason. I was
19 when I got pregnant, I was living with
my boyfriend and we had "planned" on
trying to have a baby. I was off my pill
for a week and ended up pregnant. The
night I told him, he moved out and has
never laid eyes on my daughter who is now
10. Growing up I wanted a family with
children, I had my daughter with the
support of my mother and father. A few
years later I met someone and got married,
we tried having a baby and I had 3
miscarriages and then had to have a
hysterectomy at the age of 23. I feel
that I was given my daughter at the young
age and the "situation" because god knew
that was my only chance of ever having a
baby. She's now 10 and things have
worked out. It will for you too. Stay
strong and let your mom and family help
you. I'm sure you will be a wonderful
mother, congratulations!!
