Gangster Lovin'!!!!

Ummm......I see what ur saying, but its kinda like the stereo-types...I live on the south-side of chicago and know gang members and they dont live a easy life-style....Being ones gf can be tough...My bf is not one but associates wit them.....Also being mexican doesnt have much to do wit it in ur area many mexicans maybe all gang members but thats sterotypical again....Like I said my bf associates wit gang members and hes puerto rican and I am puerto rican and irish....I know many mexican people and they seem very loyal to thier families so maybe thats y to u they are great bfs.....But I guess what im trying to say is dont follow the stereo-types and just find someone u love for who they are...

Once upon a time, I thought that I was starting to believe the stereo typees that puerto rican guys were bad news.. When I lived in fl. I dated this guy and he got me into a lot of trouble and I got locked up. It was bad, when I got out I decided that I was going to straighten up. I hooked up with this guy again that I was talking with for about 4 years.The same guy I am with now, he was in and out of jail but he straightened up for me. Not all guys cant make it through, and people need to learn that just because there are stereotypes doesnt mean that you have to act like them to fit in, and it doesnt mean that you have to be a bad ass!!

I see what you mean. Its just something ive noticed! Im not trying to sound like im dissing them....Cuz im haspanic and I do love gangsters. Ive never been w/ one though. I dont consider johnny a gangster. Its true though its hard to be ones gf.

I can say as a puerto rican girl (born in brooklyn,ny but i'm actually in pr now) that not all hispanic people are in gangs,as you know we are hardworking people.I know a lot of girls that find them very atractive cuz of the "bad boy" look.We can't judge them cuz the way they act or things like that,they are people that can totally be in love whith a girl like any other man....

I do not look like j_lo but I am mexican. Hey dreamer, these cholos are not all lovers. They just get stuck getting girls pregnant and then they get arrested and they act like they want to be there and blah blah blah but they never do. If they wanted to be good and loving they would work to keep their butts out of jail. Ive came very close to getting in a gang, but I changed my mind because it was ruining me. Ive never been in so much trouble. Jose was in a gang, but hes was clear out of that for like 7 years now. He doesnt even look like hed fit in, in a gang. I think the worst thing is to get caught up with a homie-cholo, jailbird or anything like that. Because they have no future. You will get stuck pregnant, with a job, with all the bills, while hes in and out of jail, out with his homies, cant get a real job because of his criminal backround, and hes a player, because you spend time with a baby, hes out with sancha. I would never go back to hanging out with homies. I wouldnt even dream of wanting to get stuck with one either. Yeah they might be hot and nice to look at but thats it. I used to be in love with every cholo out here, but I changed that after I noticed what happens. Cops dont bust them for no reason. If they fight and do drivebyes, shootouts, gang fights...Then they have no hearts. Dont get caught up dreamer, there are good guys out there.

Ive never had someone protect me before. When I use to tell johnny about guys touching me, disrespecting me......He wouldnt do anything..@ the time I guess you could say he was alittle bi*ch! No guy has my back or ever did.Now that johnny is a "crip" I hate that thought and just want him to drop it. Its too late for him to be messing around w/that gang stuff...Hes gonna spend his b-day in juvie(nov.15) and hes gonna be 17....He needs to straighten up and get out turn life around, finish school, get a job and start becoming a man. Theres no time for that gang stuff. If he doesnt walk ..Ill walk!

No matter what type of person they are, and if they are gangsters I think that most men put on a front and are sweet on the inside, please make sure that you dont judge people but that you stay strong. Life is what you make it, and as for pretty chicky, we dont wanna hear your stories, because you are probably lieing, and I dont feel sorry for you, if you were in a gang that was probably your choice, but I understand some people may not have a choice, but regardless I dont believe you!!

Where i'm from we call your "gangsters" thugs. I've been with my fiance for 6yrs and he's done some crazy thugish things since he was 12yrs old. I've been by his side through 2 prison terms and now we are finally back on track. It really depends on the guy as to wheather or not he sticks by his woman. I do know that my fiance tells me if it wasn't for my uncondional love and support he would have stayed lost. All I can say is it takes a strong woman to stand by her man through all of that, but it takes a strong man to admit the error of his ways and change his life. A thug or gangster as you call them is a sterotypical name for people who live their life different from the whole of society. They live their life the only way they know how because it's the only way they can survive. They don't have families that support or help them, they are on their own. So they live by whatever means necessary. However, not all are bad boys, they just have had a harder life than most.

Well for some, its not becuase they didnt know better because of the way they were raised, I knew a guy who was spoiled but because he was mexican and wanted to fit in with the guys, he fell in with the homies to prove himself. And most guys who get caught up in that stuff are gonna do it again. If jose was locked up, id stay by his side once, but if he did it again then too bad. I aint wasting my time with a jailbird when there are many men out there that are single, with jobs and cars and security and who dont go in and out of jail. Im sorry but jose has had a very hard life and now hes great and doesnt do anything to get in trouble. Some men dont want to change and some can. But when they are kids, like teenagers they take it as fun and games and keep getting locked up.
