How long did it take for that to happen? I was just reading some of my old posts and saw some of you talked about furry belly...

What is it? Like a happy trail? And when does that appear? Is it alot of hair?

Your belly is normally 'furry' but not as furry when pregnant. I had two boys, so mine was extra furry. Myths say hairy tummy its a boy. But I dont believe it. But no, its not a happy trail. Its all over. I liked it..It was funny to look at. Lol

I have a furry belly :( my doc says it's common....

The dark line is called a "linea nigra" -- dark line! It is a common sign of pregnancy and usually happens only when the abdomen is somewhat distended. It is thought to be hormonally initiated and there is nothing anyone can do to get rid of it. Fair skinned women do not have this as often as women with darker pigmentation. Staying out of the sun does help to reduce pigment changes with pregnancy.

This line does not necessarily go away after the baby is born but it does get a bit lighter.

I gots a fuzzy belly, ive had one since I was like 10 weeks pregnant.

All the hair just seemed to go from blonde to dark brown, and then an even darker line of hair from my pubic region up too *estimates* the top of my uterus.

I got it. My mom said its called a "mothers trail" I guess when your stomach starts popping out the little peach fuzz hairs become more noticable and darker. You couldent see mine untill I took out my belly button rings, now I hate it. I kept saying I was gunna shave it, but luis kept saying no.

During pregnancy your hormones change which can cause your hair to darken/thicken/ and grow faster and in random places :)
