I still need half my labour bag and a baby coat or jacket, nappies, all the creams/lotions and talc and stuff for the baby.

Got all the big stuff, just need all the little stuff now.

I have been buying things slowley, because I only get 25 pound each friday.

And now I turn 18 tomorrow, there stopping paying me from social, because I have to go on income support... Whihc, I wont receive until the end of febuary, because I wasent allowed too apply for income support until yesterday.

And garry started his new job on monday, and he goes from being paid fortnightly to monthly, and his last pay check is tomorrow, unitl the 25th of feb. And he will have hardly any money tomorrow, because I think he worked 4-6 days in the last 2 weeks... And he still needs to pay his mum 40 pound rent.

I wish I didnt have too turn 18, things are so much easier being 17.

Sweetie pie. Don't worry things'll work out. Did you tell "assistance" that you have a baby coming any day and you're gonna need help, cause i'm sure they'll help you. I know here in canada they have programs that help young mothers. What about your family.. Can anyone help you????

Yeh, they know im pregnant, I had too fill out all these forms because of it, so I get child benefits, and a maternity grant.
But its going to take 3-4 weeks for all the paperwork to go through, and I wont receive any money until then.

Unfortunatly no one can give me extra help with cash, because everyone is low on money after christmas, and liek 60% of my familys birthday are in january and febuary, so its constintly,
"oo crap, gotta go buy so n so a card.. Best stick a fiver in there for em",
luckily nan sticks my name on all her cards so I dont have too worry about that at the moment.

I suppose i'll have to ask social for extended payments, and I pay them back when my income support is sorted.
But still, its only 25 pounds a week, and I got a feeling a baby is a little more expensive than that.

So I really hope she arrives on her due date.

With assistance yeah its ruff. Just keep your hopes up and atleast know that your getting something. The dollare stores have alot of stuff for babies to, or pregnancy place like here we have birth right, aaa, and another one I think I dont know the name. Call your local social services or shelter and they will let you know. I know what you mean. Im broke to but I thank god I still have food a roof and clothes a place to shower and sleep. So remember it all seems bad but it could be worse. Sorry so long but I know what your feeling right now

Yeh, I will admit, it could be alot worse than it is.

Also though, I will technically be "homeless" tomorrow. Although because a relative is fostering me, I wont have no where to go.

Everything is so stressful. That wont make me go into labour sooner will it? Being over stressed.

Garry's family have like less money than my family unfortunatly. Garry is the only person that works in his house. And his mum relys on income support, though she wont even be getting that soon, there making her go get a job, because her partner dosent work, so he can lok after the kids.

there is always a place for you to go. There are shelters friends family, churches that will help you, and there are places that help pregnant women. I was homeless when I had xaveria my oldest, and a shelter helped me get into the place that I am in now. So dont think of it that way hun. Just do some research and calling around. Also yes stress can trigger labor so try to take it as easy as possible. I have been through all of this and im still going through some things now. So you arent the only one. About the income support they will only help you for a little bit. I wish you well and luck for I know how it feels to wonder what you are going to do how your going to eat and etc. Just remember take it day by day and it will peace together. I wish I could help you out
