My ? Is, why would you be having unprotected sex anyway after aborting? I'm sorry this just doesn't make sense to me. But either you're body is still thinking its pregnant or you should see a doctor and make sure everything is ok.

You know it the same way as with any other pregnancy, you take a pregnancy test and it comes out positive.

How long after the abortion did you take the test. It may be that your body still thinks you are pregnant? I remember taking one after my abortion when I was 17 and it still came up positive. It would be best to see a doctor though

Yeah.. Chances are even though the fetus is gone.. You may still have some of the hormone left.. It's not actually being pregnant that makes the test postive.. It's a prescense of the pregnancy hormone, chances are there are still traces of it in your system.

Yes take a hpt and if your still worried go get a blood test from your gyno/doc
