Braxton Hicks Concerning Me!
Posted: 01-27-05 14:28pm

Ok I know that having braxton hicks is completley normal, but it seems to me that my uterus just stays contracted. Every once and awhile it will let up and gets soft again but then 5 mins later it contracts. I asked my doctor and she told me that it was because I was dehydrated so all I do is drink water and it seems to of gotten worse! Im tired of not trusting my doc so I am going to transfer to a new one, and this one will be specialized in the cervical cancer thing, so she is high risk. Does anyone else have this problem or know what causes it? I am really worried about the baby and how the contractions effect her stress levels!

Don't stress. It will make it worse. I don't think it's related to the cancer in any way. Just relax and take care of yourself. I'm glad you're getting a new doc. I hope you him/her better.
