A friend of mine has marfan syndrome. I
was just wondering if anyone could tell me
more about it. I looked it up, but i'm
just trying to understand it better. If
anyone has any information, that would be
great. Thanks.

Did you google it? I did and a whole
bunch of stuff came up. I think you'll
find all you need there.

Many times if you need to search a subject
you need to punch in research (your
subject) research.
Marfan syndrome. ..Haven't heard that in
awhile, it is sometimes associated with
genetic disorders like homocyctenaria.
It's becoming more prevelent in societies
with compromised heart/blood vessels. It
just means a large (over genetic
forebearance), person. This can be
concerning due to taxation of heart and
vessels that tend to build up platlets
along vessel walls.
Have you talked to your friend about this?
They'll most likely be willing to share
and kind of complimented that someone
shows enough interest to ask.
Hope this has been helpful.

I'm not sure where klem got his info but
what I read about it was a connective
tissue disorder that usually results in
being taller than normal and ir many other
symptoms form mild to severe. Look in the
national marfan foundation website at www.Marfan.Org/

Thank u. I know I can ask him about it,
he always tells me I can ask anything, but
I just want to bring it up at the right
time, not just out of the blue. But thank
u for the info. Hopefully i'll be able to
understand it a bit more now.
