Hey jess. You can be dialated for months. Sorry I don't know the exact earliest time. And you can get contractions for awhile too. With my first baby I had contractions on and off for a couple weeks. I went 10 days late. And I was so tired by the time I really went into labor b/c of weeks of contractions.

Hey jess. It all depends on each person. If you dialate early like before 36 weeks its considered pre term labor which I dilated at 26 weeks and delivered my son at 28 weeks. So every pregnancy is different hun. Its really hard to say or pin point it... Good luck though you will def. Know when you are in labor

well tech. You have 6 more weeks to go. You can do it hun, I know its hard and it gets difficult but just remember for every one day in your body is two days out here. Right now is the time when his lungs are developing and preparing him to breath on his own. Zachary was born at 32 wks and still required a little oxygen to help him breath when he was born. They also had to give me shots in my thigh and butt to help develope his lungs quicker because I was in labor with him. So just hang tight it will all be wll worth it in the end I promise....
