Definitely worth checking out with a
doctor (or two). My mom had something
similar and it was a harmless fatty cyst;
mine was thyroid cancer! Best way to stop
worrying about the "what if's" is to
pursue an authoritative answer.

Lump On My Collar Bone Is Growing !!!! Posted: 09-01-07 10:24am
Hi there to all:
I would say about 6 months ago I started
getting pain in my right arm right down to
my hand and the pain would also travel up
the right side of my neck right up to the
ride side of my face up to the area of my
right ear. The pain would be there all
the time worse at times when I would be
doing stuff that would put lots of
pressure on my right side. Well now about
4 weeks ago now I found a lump on my right
collar bone in the center. I went to the
Dr's he sent me for a x-ray then the next
dr sent me for ultra sound and then for a
CT scan. Then after those results I was
sent for a bone scan. All along they were
telling me that there is something there
that should not be there but they just
could not tell me that it was or wasn't
the big "C" thing but I would read my
medical reports and on the reports they
sure were leaning towards the big "C"
thing. Well I have to tell all that this
past Wednesday I saw the orthopedic
surgeon and he looks over all my reports
and he looks at all my scans and he is
telling me that he is very worried and it
is not good that I am hurting where I am
hurting now he wants me to have a MRI to
get a better look at my lump. I have to
say this waiting game is so hard. I will
tell you all if you ever find a lump
anywhere on your body and you know it
should not be there do not ignore it
please go to the dr's and check it out.
Look where I am now I thought it was
noting and now look where i am the dr's
are afraid it is the big "c". Has anyone
else out there going through what I am
going through?

hi.
about 3-4 weeks ago I found a lump behind
my ear.
It doesn't hurt but it's immobile and
feels like it could be a part of my skul
(but it's obviously not).
And my stomach seems to be bloated. Like,
if someone looked at me they wouldn't
think i looked "Fat" or whatever but for
me i'm definaltly bigger. Prenantish
looking? But i'm 15 so don't even go on
asking me if i'm pregnant.
But anyways, a few months before I was
having major problems with my legs, mostly
when I slept. Like one would swell and
they'd hurt. I don't know if that had
anything to do with anything but i figured
I'd tell you.
I don't have night sweats and I don't
think i have a temp (our themometor is
broken I think).
my mom won't take me to the doctor unless
it's like acheck up which, those are in
august. She never thinks anything is
wrong.
i'm worried. help?

Lump above collarbone Posted: 03-31-08 18:35pm
I have a 12 yr old daughter who has a
small pea size lump on her r clavicle
closer to the sternam ares. She also has
a couple pea sized nodes which we can feel
under the back of the chin area. nothing
hurts, we did the xray, and the
ultrasound, they said it was the nodes,
they thought it was just a cyst. it is
fluid filled, soft and dosent hurt, she is
very active in gymnastics and not sick in
any way, I am of corse very scared. Does
any one have any advise.??? thank you in
advance.

I'm almost 22 and I've had two bumps, one
above the other and very close together,
for about five years now. I had another
one before that which was further up into
my hairline which, after months had passed
and it hadn't gone away, I went to the
doctor about. I had a blood test and it
came up clear. That bump took a looong
time to go away, months and months from
what I remember. When the new bumps came
up (it was one at first and then two) I
thought it was probably the same thing
again so I didn't go to the doctor. After
I'd had them a long time I assumed that if
it were serious I'd have shown other
symptoms by now. I haven't noticed any
change for years. I recently became
worried again because I did a google
search on it and have read about some of
the things it could be. I'm a paranoid
person when it comes to my health. I am
going to go to the doctor next week but I
wanted to ask about it anyway.
The bumps aren't really hard or soft.
Sometimes they seem to move a bit, usually
when I'm lying down I think, but right now
as I'm sitting up they don't. I have to
turn my head to the side to feel them
properly. The smaller one is probably the
width of the tip of my finger and the
bigger is probably about the width of two
fingertips. They don't move when I swallow
and they're not visible.
