Symptoms of Epilepsy Again?? Posted: 01-30-05 13:34pm


Hey guys I used to have epilepsy from when I was like 8 yrs old till about 16. Then I went for a test, they said I didn't have it anymore. So I came off the tegretol. I'm 20 now and for the past couple of weeks, I have been having this sharp pain in the same spot on the side of my head. It's not a headache but like a sharp pain that comes and go's all the time. I'm worried that I might be having a reoccurence. Any thoughts???

It is possible for it to come back. Some people have remission for a number of years and then the symptoms come back... I would contact a doctor and get a referral to a neurologist soon! Take care!
